ABOUT ME
I'm a full-time professor at Department of Agricultural Engineering, University of Guanajuato Campus Irapuato-Salamanca and, a teacher by signature at weekends at the University Incarnate Word Campus Bajio.
I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering (2016), Master in Electrical Engineering (2012) and, Bachelor in Engineering of Communications and Electronics (2011) from the Engineering Division of the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. I visited in 2015 the University of Amsterdam under the supervision of Prof. Theo Gevers.
I'm principal of the Applied Artificial Itelligence Laboratory (LIAA) since 2018. My team work includes to Dr. Raul E. Sanchez-Yanez, , Dra. Rocio A. Lizarraga-Morales, Dr. Noé Saldaña-Robles and Dr. Guillermo Tapia-Tinoco.
My research interests include computer vision applications, mainly color image processing, pattern recognition and computer graphics. All these topics specially applied to the digital art, agricultural processes and bioscience applications.
